In the Now:
The rumors are true. A second instructional Poi DVD "The Encyclo-Poi-dia volume 2" is RELEASED! When you order it here it will ship to you right away. This DVD is a major step forward in poi instruction, combining over 20 chapters of in-depth instruction with computer animation to simplify complex poi techniques and theories. The instruction will be interspersed with interviews and footage of some of the world's top spinners. Everyone involved in the project is quite stoked about how great it turned out. Click here to see a sample from the DVD. Also, the Primer video is posted, featuring deleted scenes, unused interviews, and other poi footage. Instruments of the Now just put on possibly its best show ever at 'Tsunami on the Square' in June 2009. Zan and Noah Moore, Anetta Lucero and Aurora performed a series of partner acts including partner-acrobatics and fire-dancing duets. Here's what some audience members had to say:

Last year the Instruments of the Now completed our largest project ever: Tour Now & Then 2008. For two years running we directed a non-profit motivational circus project for diabetic kids' summer camps, performing for thousands of kids in more than 25 states and provinces. New videos are up on the Video Updates page to give you a feel for the project. They're fun, wacky, and have some great clips from our black-light stage show.
Zan now lives in Mosier, Oregon between travels where he fits a training regimen into his daily routine. This summer, he's going on a two month street-performing tour of Europe. Noah is in Hawaii, on the Big Island working on some new performance partner-acrobatic material. Here's a video of it: Watch video
